Samuel L. Delgado
Coached basketball for 31 years in Anaheim
- 🇺🇸 Anaheim, California, United States
- Since 1995
- English
I've coached basketball at Anaheim Kilimanjaro Boxing Gym since 1995. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
More about Samuel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Samuel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Santos.
