Samuel Fikru Bekele
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Trades Guild
- Since 2007
- English
I've worked in pottery since 2007. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
What gifts mean to Samuel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
