For 35 years I was the mathematics teacher at Vitória da Conquista Public School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
