Samuel Bakari Mwakyusa

Pottery, done properly

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Workshop
  • Since 1985
  • English
I've worked in pottery since 1985. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 2,420 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.

More about Samuel

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
