Sampath Silva
Gospel player and teacher in Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Negombo Harmony Music School
- Since 2008
- English
I play gospel and oud. I started in 2008 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sampath
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Sampath: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
