Sampath Ruwan Nanayakkara
Ceramics and calligraphy artist
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Art Collective
- Since 1993
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1993 at Colombo Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Sampath
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
