Samjhana Sarita Bhattarai
Self-taught printmaking artist
- 🇳🇵 Lalitpur, Bagmati, Nepal
- Since 1979
- English, Nepali
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1979 at Old Lalitpur Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Lalitpur Pottery, which keeps me honest.
What gifts mean to Samjhana: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
