Samira Zahra Taha
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Old Liberty Works
- Since 1994
- English
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1994 in Cairo and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Samira
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
