I taught chemistry at Shubra Primary School in Shubra from 1992 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Samira: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
