Samir Tariq Zidan
Coached gymnastics for 47 years in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Beacon Swimming Club
- Since 1979
- English, Arabic
I've coached gymnastics at Beacon Swimming Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

What gifts mean to Samir: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
