Helping people break into writing
- 🇸🇦 Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Highland Association
- 1991 to 2012

For 21 years I've mentored people in writing and design. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Sami
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Sami: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first writing job in 2010. I still have your notes. Greetings from Gondar.
