I taught biology at Riyadh Middle School in Riyadh from 1987 to 2006. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
