Samanthi Thilini Fernando
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Starlight Workshop
- 1985 to 2012
- English, Sinhala
I'm a baking specialist. If you live around Kandy, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Samanthi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
