Salvador H. Lozano
Special education and art teacher, Syracuse
- 🇺🇸 Syracuse, New York, United States
- Unity Public School
- 2009 to 2023
- English, Spanish
Unity Public School was my second home. I taught special education there from 2009 to 2023, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Over the years I had 390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Salvador
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
