Salma Shima Ali
Flute player and teacher in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Band
- 1984 to 2022
- English
I've played flute from 1984 to 2022, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Salma: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
