I taught computer science at Unity Institute of Technology from 1980 to 2000, and supervised 30 dissertations along the way.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Salma
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Salma: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
