Salma Manal Tawfik
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Zagazig, Sharqia, Egypt
- Little Zagazig Trades Guild
- Since 1986
- English
I've worked in tiling since 1986. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 2,040 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Salma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
