Salim Otieno Ochieng

Retired civil engineering lecturer

  • 🇺🇬 Entebbe, Central Region, Uganda
  • Entebbe Institute of Technology
  • 2004 to 2015
  • English, Swahili
My subject is civil engineering, and for eleven years I got to share it with undergraduates at Entebbe Institute of Technology. Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Salim

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
