For eight years I have been the English literature teacher at Kasarani Grammar School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Salim
If you were in my teenagers class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Salim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
