I taught social studies at Andes Secondary School in Nairobi from 1981 to 2002. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Salim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
