Salim Maina Kiptoo
Coached chess for 34 years in Kakamega
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Lakeview Swimming Club
- 1986 to 2020
- English, Swahili
For 34 years I ran the chess program at Lakeview Swimming Club in Kakamega. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Salim: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
