I teach physical education at Nairobi Boys' School in Nairobi since 1996. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Salim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Salim: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
