Salim Kariuki Mwakyusa
Mentor in small business and leadership
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa Youth Network
- Since 1981
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,130 people through Mombasa Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Salim: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
