Salim Hassan Said
Coached chess for 28 years in Shubra
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Lakeview Football Club
- Since 1998
- English, Arabic
For 28 years I've run the chess program at Lakeview Football Club in Shubra. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Salim
If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Salim: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
