Salim Hamza Yassin

Farmer and teacher of young growers

🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
Old Cairo Growers Co-op
Since 1994
English, Arabic

I farm tea near Cairo. The land was my family's before me and I hope it will be someone's after me. Weather makes fools of us all, but I'd still rather be out there. I never rush a conversation. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
