Salim Ghassan Darwish
Choir director and singer
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Shubra Hillcrest Orchestra
- Since 1984
- English
I'm a musician from Shubra. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Salim
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
