Salim Barasa Mwakyusa
Physical education teacher at Mount Pleasant Academy, 1999 to 2017
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Mount Pleasant Academy
- 1999 to 2017
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Salim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
