Salim Bakari Opio
Chemistry and physics teacher, Nakuru
- 🇰🇪 Nakuru, Nakuru, Kenya
- Stonebridge High School
- 2003 to 2018
- English, Swahili
I taught chemistry at Stonebridge High School in Nakuru from 2003 to 2018. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Salim
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Salim: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
