Saima Bushra Lashari
Drums and sitar teacher
- 🇵🇰 Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan
- Silverlake Ensemble
- 1995 to 2017
- English, Urdu
I play drums and sitar. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Saima: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.

I still have the recording from that night at Silverlake Ensemble. Truly.
