I've worked in painting and decorating since 1995. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,430 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
