Sadie Yang
Badminton coach, Oakland Sports Club
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Sports Club
- 1991 to 2011
- English
For 20 years I ran the badminton program at Oakland Sports Club in Oakland. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Sadie
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Sadie: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
