For 26 years I was the home economics teacher at Parkside Girls' School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
