I've coached cross country at Lagos Eastgate Swimming Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
