Sade Amaka Falana

Choir director and singer

  • 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
  • Ibadan Orchestra
  • Since 1984
  • English, Yoruba
I've played piano since 1984, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Sade

I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
