I taught special education and mathematics at Shinjuku Primary School, Shinjuku. I never turned anyone away. Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.

More about Sachiko

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Sachiko: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
