Sabbir Shakil Roy
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- The St. Joseph's Shop
- Since 1989
- English, Bengali
I've worked in welding since 1989. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,520 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
What gifts mean to Sabbir: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
