Sabbir Imran Howlader
25 years teaching mathematics in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Acacia Academy
- Since 1979
- English, Bengali
I teach mathematics at Acacia Academy in Dhaka since 1979. Most days I teach teenagers, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Sabbir
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sabbir: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me mathematics in 1997 at Acacia Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

I failed mathematics twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Addis Ababa.
