Saanvi D. Chaturvedi
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- The Mumbai Repairs
- Since 1983
- English, Hindi
My trade is baking. I opened my own shop in 1983 in Mumbai and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Saanvi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Saanvi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
