I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I spent my career as a night-shift cleaner and now give some of that back.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Saanvi
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Saanvi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
