For 20 years I ran the badminton program at Tokyo St. Anne's Boxing Gym in Tokyo. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ryota
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Ryota: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
