Rylee N. Gilbert
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇺🇸 Seattle, Washington, United States
- The Seattle Gallery
- 1980 to 1997
- English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1980 at The Seattle Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Rylee
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Rylee: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
