Ryan Thornton
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Newport Football Club
- 1980 to 2001
- English
I coached volleyball at Newport Football Club from 1980 to 2001. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ryan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Ryan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
