I taught geography at Halifax Boys' School in Halifax from 1995 to 2006. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
