For 40 years I've run the wrestling program at Miami Sports Club in Miami. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ryan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Ryan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Rajkot.
