I teach economics at Meadowbank Technical College in Los Angeles since 1987. Most days I teach Year 10, and I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ruth
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ruth: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
