I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in political science at Westbrook College in Addis Ababa. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
More about Ruth
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
