16 years teaching economics in Swansea

For 34 years I have been the economics teacher at Swansea Academy. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ruth
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ruth: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I'm a journalist now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Lagos.

You taught me economics in 2015 at Swansea Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

I was in your Grade 4 class in 1993. You believed I could do it before I did!
