Ruth Kidist Teshome
Coached boxing for ten years in Adama
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- 2008 to 2018
- English, Amharic
For ten years I ran the boxing program at Adama Sports Club in Adama. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

I still think about the quiz night we nearly won. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Magelang.
