Ruth Irene Kamau
Trades mentor, Zanzibar City
- 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
- 1985 to 2006
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 590 people through Zanzibar City Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Ruth
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Ruth: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
