Hockey and fitness coach, Kinondoni

- Sakura Youth Club
- 1981 to 1997

For 16 years I ran the hockey program at Sakura Youth Club in Kinondoni. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Ruth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
